Show will begin promptly at 6:00pm

Contest will be held in the Talent Show Tent on the Boone County Fairgrounds

$6.00 Entry Fee (Entry fee MUST accompany entry form)

Rules:

• 5 and 6 years of age only. Age divisions reflect the child’s age the DAY of the contest.
• Entries will be limited to Boone County residents only.
• All entries must be mailed along with $6.00 entry fee to the address listed below.
• All entries must be POSTMARKED no later than Friday, July 18, 2008.
• Entries will close upon receiving the first 30 girl participants and the first 30 boy participants.
• Judging will be based on the following: Personality, appearance and proper clothing.
• The girls must be dressed in simple dress, boys in a shirt with a collar and slacks or shorts. There will be NO MAKE-UP, no frills, no big bows, hats or props of any kind used during the contest.
• Children will be expected to speack briefly into the microphone, stating their name, age and favorite thing at the fair, as part of the judging.
• Winner will be expected to be at the fair Wednesday evening for introduction at the Society Horse Show and Saturday morning to hand out ribbons at the Society Horse Show.
• Prizes will be announced the night of the contest.
• Check in time will start at 5:15pm Monday evening.
  

Children will need to be with their parents during check in. Clothing will be approved or disapproved at this time.

Chairperson has the right to disqualify anyone not following ALL contest rules.
